MEDIEVAL ANGLO-SAXON (ENGLISH) RING, SIZE 8 ¼ 5 1/4 profusely detailed9th 10 century AD. Rounded edge square bezel with concentric circle decoration, four surrounding one in regular arrangement of unknown spiritual significance. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p. 42. 3. 1mm rounded face band flared to the shoulders. Good example, probably for a clan leader. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
